- Fill the cocktail shaker up to half with ice.

What is sugar syrup?
Sugar syrup is made with 2 parts sugar for every 1 part water. You can make it at home by boiling water and adding sugar double the amount of water to it. Wait till the sugar dissolves. Then remove the pan from the heat source and allow it to cool.
